Middle schoolers will participate in worship for the beginning of the church service and will go to their class in the Chapel, when the children are dismissed for their classes. Students, come for a doughnut and see what we're about!

 Our children will compete in a special pageant in search of the one who can be the biggest, brightest star to shine the light from heaven. It is the story of our Savior’s birth told from an inspiring perspective. We hope you can make it!

At Millwood, we have a blended worship style. The music portion includes piano, organ, guitars and drums, featuring modern worship songs as well as traditional hymns. In this manner, we honor the great hymns of the past as well as look to our future.

Kids up through grade five are encouraged to participate during the first part of the service and then they are dismissed for an age-appropriate lesson. Kids are also welcome to stay in worship.

Meet us on Friday, December 6th, at 6:00 p.m., for movie night. Come and enjoy some special Christmas treats with hot cocoa or Christmas punch.  Plus, bring of your favorite Christmas cookies to share and let’s spend some fellowship time together. This month’s movie is The Nativity Story and will be showing it in the Sanctuary.

Our Women’s Groups offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith amid a caring community of women. We meet monthly, the first Thursday of the month, at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. There’s a video that goes with the lesson, so we start with the video at 10:30 a.m., an overview of the lesson at 11:00 a.m.,a short time to discuss any business, and then lunch at 12:00 p.m. If you want to get connected to our women’s groups, this is the place to start. We’'ll help you get connected!

Preparations have started for the Advent party, Sunday, December 1st, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall. Save The Date! At this annual gathering, we share a meal together, decorate the church for Advent and Christmas, make Christmas crafts, sing carols and Christmas fun songs, and much more! You don't want to miss out. Bring your neighbors and friends too.

Egypt, The Plagues, And The Wildernes

Join Jim Hillbrick as he guides us on Sundays for a seven-week DVD teaching by Ray Vander Laan. The class will start October 6th and end November 17th. We’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall from 11:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
