Millwood Impact
Officially a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit, Millwood Impact was envisioned by the youth leaders of Millwood Community Presbyterian Church to address local youth needs with funds not available to a religious organization. Brandon Comella, our youth director for 12 years, developed the organization with the support of local partners, the church’s elders and members, and regional funders.
Vision Statement: Our vision is that through relationship centered programs we will impact the social, emotional, academic, and spiritual well-being of youth and families of the Millwood community.

Youth Ministry Leadership Updates
As of February 1, 2020, Brandon Comella is executive director of Millwood Impact and Micah Sanders is youth director for the church. Training leaders for youth ministry and after-school programs is central to MI’s mission in serving our community, so Brandon remains deeply connected to our church and programs. He volunteers as a YoungLife leader and high school Sunday School teacher, while Micah is now the sole paid church staff for youth leadership and oversees YoungLife and WyldLife and middle school Sunday School. Our new pastor, Matt Royston, is fully supportive of this change.
